Once more Keral witnessed for a cataclismic event at Areekkode in district Malappuram. Eight of the students drowned yesterday in Chaliyar river when they are crossing it in a boat. Overload is the attributed cause for the dangerous event. Whatever may be, eight flowers fell down befor they will blossom smilingly.
Wht is the real cause for the increasing calamities in Kerala? Is it the creatuion of inconvenience in the protection affairs? Ore it is making one to make the eyes of government to take serious measures in such like things?
In Kerala even now, there are many places they have no basic aminities of life. They have no enough schools to study, they have no enoug hospitals to treat, they have no enough any facilities. That is why they are compelled to go outsid for the basic needs. Apart from the food, settling place, dresses the education also the part of basic needs here. Now we want to say that the travelling facilties also be included in the list. Because, the protection of the life of the students they are going the shool is also the duty of the government. When the govenment is wellcoming students schools and and not preparing the aboarding facility is certainly a kind of dangerous event.
The right to knowledge is the significant right. Anyone cann't deny it. In the same time the govenment ought to prepare all kinds of facilities for it. The election of representatives to the legistrative assembly is as the part of it. The owed to find out all reginal protectve conditions and thy make assure that the safty is everywhere. The lack of this point is the main cause for such like these catastrophies.
The sad event of Areekkode should open the eyes of governmet. Becouse this would not be ignored as the mistake from the part of boat driver, but it is, undoubtably the consequence of the inconvenience from the part of government. This opinion will be strengthened when we hear that there was arisen the the freequent shouts and wants for the bulding of a hung bridge to connect Areekkonde and Moorkkanad. But the authority was asleep. Even now they will open their eyes.
It was completely unbearable to hear that all the ceased are the plus one or plus two students. Certailnly, they will in the cherished dreams of heiger studies. But, only because of our reason we lot these flowers.
Before one month Kerala had witnessed another catastrophty in Thekkady. This have taken place befor curing the injuries of that that event. Forty people were killed in that event and all was from out. But, shame, even now we have not be awared about the value of human lives.
What the government can do for these deceasd students? Can it give back their lives? If the compansation fare ample substitute for the human soul? No. nothing is substitute.
But the absolute privention was the only way to be not regreted here.
We can drop our tears here infront of the humble souls of these stainless students' memories.....
